As a biologist and ethnologist with one foot in Europe and the other in South America, Fabian loves to jump back and forth between systems and world views. He mediates between the carnival in Mainz and the carnival in Rio just as passionately as between the perspective of disadvantaged groups and the huge Excel spreadsheets that are supposed to map them. Thinking environmental issues together with social justice is what drives him.
